All seven churches referenced in the opening chapters of the Book of Revelation—an apocalyptic text rich in symbolism and prophetic vision—are located within the borders of modern-day Turkey. As the final book of the New Testament, Revelation differs from the narrative and instructional style of earlier texts, presenting visions and foretelling dramatic future events that have intrigued biblical scholars for centuries.

Early in the morning, transfer to Istanbul Airport for your flight to İzmir. Upon arrival, proceed to the town of Selçuk to begin your Seven Churches of Revelation Tour.
Your first visit will be to Ancient Ephesus, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. You will also explore the Basilica of St. John and the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be the place where she spent the final years of her life. Lunch will be served in Selçuk.
In the afternoon, continue to Laodicea, once a major crossroads of the ancient world.
Overnight stay in Pamukkale. (Lunch, Dinner)
Today involves a longer driving distance. Begin with a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis, home of St. Philip the Evangelist, and the stunning Pamukkale calcium terraces. Continue your journey to Philadelphia. Lunch will be served en route.
Afterwards, proceed to ancient Sardis, including a visit to the Temple of Artemis, which was later converted into a church. Continue driving to Pergamon, stopping by the site of the Church of Thyatira along the way.
Overnight stay in Bergama. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Today, we will explore the Acropolis of Pergamon, historically referred to as “the throne of Satan.” We will also visit the Red Court. Lunch will be served in Pergamon town.
In the afternoon, continue to İzmir to visit Smyrna, after which you will be transferred to İzmir Airport.
